Course Description

Strategic planning is about getting your team, department or organization where it needs to go. Starting from knowing where you are and moving to where you want to get to, this programme takes you right through the strategic planning process with helpful tools, techniques, and ideas for every stage to enhance your strategic thinking skills

This programme will facilitate each employee to understand his/her role and the larger goals of an organization so that their performance and knowledge is enhanced. A good strategic plan must include an organization’s values, vision, and mission. 

Course Objective

After completing this course, participants will have learned to:
•    Identify the values that support their company
•    Write a mission statement that explains what the company’s purpose is
•    Complete meaningful SWOT analysis
•    Use tools and techniques to create a strategic plan that directs the organization from the executive to the front line
•    Learn ways to implement, evaluate, and review a strategic plan
•    Use related tools, such as the strategy map and balanced scorecard, can help them develop a strategic plan
•    Understand strategic planning
•    Set goals
•    Assign roles and responsibilities
•    Keep everybody accountable
•    Gather support
•    Make changes
•    Use presentation options, including info graphics and reports

Who Should Attend

Managers with strategic planning responsibility. Although the emphasis is on corporate or organisation-wide planning, the tools and techniques covered will have value for a business unit or departmental managers.

Training Methodology will be based on the following

: Highly Interactive Session, with a bilateral approach to the subject matter allowing participants to share incidences at respective work locations.

: Mind Mapping and Recap Sessions
: Workshop Session – allowing participants to have a hands-on participation in the application of planning, implementation, and execution of Strategic Planning and work in synergy with other participants
: Ice Breaking / Monotony Breaking Sessions – Purpose of rejuvenating the mind
